Research Advisory Board
The External Research Advisory Board (RAB) is the external advisory committee that counsels the Vice President for Research, and his executive staff.
It is comprised of business, industry and academic leaders who bring a diverse background of leadership experiences and skills.
- Appointment to the RAB is made by the Vice-President, Research (VPR) with advice from the President and University Council. It is advisory to the VPR.
- The RAB will advice on the strategic research issues and directions of the university.
- The RAB will advise on the use of effective performance indicators that describe the differentiated position of the E-JUST as a research-intensive university, and communicate these to various stakeholders.
- The RAB will advise on the different aspects of the research enterprise across the E-JUST campuses including knowledge translation, commercialization, and industry and community relations.
- The RAB will advise on E-JUST’s strategic international research activity and presence, in the context of the university’s overall international strategy.
- The RAB will advise on the formulation and implementation of an effective communication strategy for research at the E-JUST.
