The School of Electronics, Communications and Computer Engineering provides a wide range of courses that are critical to providing pathways to students to gain exposure to the latest advanced practices in the field of electronics, communications and computer engineering. The school includes 2 departments; Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
It aims at providing advanced analytical as well as technological knowledge in various fields of electronics and communications systems. This is to provide awareness of research in engineering sciences, and to encourage the development of inventiveness while searching for engineering solutions to technical problems

School of Innovative Design Engineering
The School of Innovative Design Engineering at E-JUST is dedicated to providing cutting-edge courses that guide students in conducting research and development to create solutions for unique operations and applications. The school includes 3 different departments; Department of Mechatronics and Robotics, Department of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management, and Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
The Mechatronics and robotics engineering is the synergistic integration of precision machinery, electronics and information technology to design innovative components and systems to create functional and smart products. The research priorities of the program are in the areas of bio-Mechatronics, autonomous robots, intelligent control systems, smart sensors/actuators, and Micro/Nano Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS/NEMS) for industrial, automotive, and bio-medical applications.
The Industrial Engineering and Systems Management graduate program is assigned to provide advanced analytical as well as technological knowledge in various fields of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management. This is to provide awareness of research in engineering sciences, and to encourage the development of inventiveness while searching for engineering solutions to technical problems
Material comprehension is of major importance to the technology development in all issues of engineering. The internal structure of the different materials should be explained so that students can have clear understanding of both of micro and macro characterization and usage of all different types of materials
School of Energy, Environmental and Process Engineering
The School of Energy, Environmental and Process Engineering at E-JUST aims to provide high quality graduate education and training, conduct high quality research and provide technical services, with a view to meeting societal needs for the development and deployment of efficient, economical and sustainable environmental and energy services. The school includes two department; Department of Energy Resources and Environmental Engineering and Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals Engineering.
Depletion of traditional fuel and the exponential increase of energy use make energy resources a very important issue for all nations in the world. In addition, the increasing knowledge of the effects of combustion in global warming and the harmful effect to mankind had increased the awareness on the importance of Environmental Engineering. Excessive consumption of fossil fuels and Environmental Degradations are the greatest threat to our planet this century. In addition, a complete understanding of Energy Resources on the Global Scale and the interactions between the human activities in the energy field and the environment had become crucial. Tools for addressing such situations include but are not limited to Energy Management, Industrial Ecology, Sustainable Energy Resources and Environment Protection using cost effective methods as Cleaner Production, Best Available Technology, etc. which are becoming important subjects for graduate courses that was not considered in the past. It is believed that the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in E-JUST will contribute to the understanding of such subjects.
This graduate study program is intended to prepare students to carry out basic and applied scientific research in the fields relevant to chemical and petrochemical industries, in order to develop new products and/or improve the properties of existing products. Also the student should be able to understand, realize and apply the basic principles of clean and green technology in the design and running different industrial units for producing different chemical and petrochemical goods.
