Electrical Lab Specialist

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineering Lab Technician supports the development, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems and components. This role involves setting up and conducting experiments, recording and analyzing data, and assisting engineers with various research and development projects. The technician ensures smooth and safe lab operations, maintaining equipment and supplies, and providing technical assistance as needed. Key responsibilities include evaluating the performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems under simulated conditions, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and managing lab supplies. The technician also documents technical design details, prepares procedural documents, and writes engineering specifications to clarify design details or functional criteria. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the assembly and testing of solar photovoltaic products and evaluating electrical components for consumer electronics applications. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices, the technician conducts regular safety inspections and implements corrective actions. Proven lab experience, proficiency with test and measurement equipment, and strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Engineering is a must (Electrical power department).
• Training/experience certificates from local or international companies/ government- approved centers / laboratories /agencies.

• Electrical and electronic equipment calibration tracking, planning, and coordination, obsolescence re-design, and test support

• Responsible for all maintenance activities (breakdown maintenance, and preventive maintenance).
• Follow operation for distribution panels (LV+HV)
• Age does not exceed 27 years

Assessment Method
