Qualifications and skills requirements:

PhD degree in mechanical power and energy engineering or a related field
Has more than 3 years of academic and professional experience since obtaining his/her PhD.
Has demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
Excellent communication skills and be willing to integrate within the current research labs of the department.
All candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and a promising research record are especially encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with other engineering schools at E-JUST
Good experience in industrial and consultation works in mechanical systems like HVAC, FF, Piping systems, combustion and ICE.

Role Expectations:

Produce high-quality research output with active collaboration with staff as well as supervision of MSc/PhD students.
Apply for research grants targeting pressing real-world problems.
Establish strong ties with Japanese counterpart professors.
Contribute to the community at large through technology transfer activities such as filing patents and startup consultations.
Contribute to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. This includes introducing state-of-the-art in the field as well as linking research with education.
Adhere to high-quality teaching processes and activities.
