Position Overview
The Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the following academic programs and disciplines:
Geological Remote Sensing
Focus Area: Geology and Remote Sensing.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Earth sciences (Geology) or a related geology fields (e.g., Geological Remote Sensing and GIS applications, Geoinformatics, Photo-Geology and Field Geology).
Ability to teach undergraduate courses in Geology and Remote Sensing is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-impact research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students.
Develop and continuously improve curriculum and academic programs.
Seek and manage external research funding.
Participate in academic advising, admission, and administrative duties.
Engage with industry and contribute to community-based projects.
General Qualifications
Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.(as listed above).
Strong record of research, scholarly publications, and grant acquisition.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student supervision.
Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and academic service.
