New Scientific Milestone | Patent in Semiconductor Technology
Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology has secured a new patent from the Egyptian Patent Office, granted to Dr. Mohsen Ghali.
The innovation introduces a graphite-based carbon unit for thin-film semiconductor fabrication, enabling ultra-miniaturized magnetic electronic circuits using thermal evaporation.
This breakthrough allows efficient evaporation of high-melting materials under low pressure, offering a cost-effective advancement for microelectronics manufacturing and strengthening technology localization.
Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, emphasized that this achievement reflects the university’s commitment to innovation and bridging scientific research with industrial applications.
