Spring 2026 Enrollment Information: CSIT Graduate Programs

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) is pleased to announce the opening of enrollment for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs for the Spring 2026 semester.

Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) Academic Background

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field. The required academic background for each program is as follows:

Software Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Artificial Intelligence

Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Data Science

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Cybersecurity

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Bioinformatics

Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nanoscience (NAN)

The students’ academic background should be:

Science background with specialization in:

· Special Chemistry

· Chemistry major with any other subject (minor)

· Materials Science 

· Biochemistry and Biophysics

· Physics

· Other related fields

Biotechnology

The students’ academic background should be Science background or equivalent in the field of specialization in:

· Microbiology

· Biochemistry

· Biophysics

· Biological sciences including botany, zoology and entomology

· Pharmaceutical Chemistry

· Medicinal Chemistry

· Bioinformatics

Applied and Computational Mathematics (ACM)

The students’ academic background should be:

· Science with specialization in Mathematics

· Engineering with mathematics background

· Other related fields

Energy Materials (EMA)

The students’ academic background should be Science background with specialization in:

· Physics

· Chemistry

· Materials Science

· Biophysics

· Other related fields

Space Environment

The students’ academic background should be: Science/Computer Science, Graduates holding BSc or MSc degree from any Faculty/ Institute in one of the following fields of specialization:
