The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) welcomed today a delegation from Yazaki EDS Egypt, led by Eng. Ahmed Bedewy, Managing Director. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation and open new pathways for employing E-JUST graduates in key industrial sectors. The delegation included Mr. Mahmoud Abdelaziz, HR Manager; Mr. Sherif Elshall, Operations Manager; and Mr. Sherif Fayez, Technical Manager. The day began with a courtesy meeting and open discussion with Prof. Amr Adly, E-JUST President, and Prof. Sameh Nada, Vice President for Education and Academic Affairs, alongside Prof. Shuji Hashimoto, First Vice President for Regional and International Affairs, and Prof. Toshio Fukuda, Vice President for Research. During the meeting, Yazaki representatives highlighted their positive experience with E-JUST alumni, confirming the successful employment of three graduates currently working in their Energy, Industrial Manufacturing, and Mechatronics departments. According to Mr. Ahmed Bedewy, these graduates have performed exceptionally and were even sent to Yazaki's affiliates in Turkey and Morocco, receiving strong feedback. As a result, Yazaki is keen to recruit more E-JUST students soon. Prof. Amr Adly and Prof. Sameh Nada emphasized that such achievements reflect E-JUST’s internationally-aligned academic programs, the depth of its Egyptian Japanese cooperation model, and the advanced laboratories and training facilities, unmatched in Egyptian universities—that equip students to excel in industry settings. The visit concluded with a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between E-JUST and Yazaki EDS Egypt. The agreement outlines collaborative initiatives in practical training, job opportunities, joint awareness programs, and internships. Following the signing, the delegation toured E-JUST’s state-of-the-art research and educational facilities, including the Center of Excellence, central library. This partnership marks a strategic step forward in connecting education with industry, promoting high-impact career development opportunities for future E-JUST graduates.
