E-JUST Welcomes ELSEWEDY Cables Delegation to Strengthen Collaboration

The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) welcomed today a high-level delegation from ELSEWEDY Cables at the university’s main campus in Borg Al Arab.

The visit aimed to explore more opportunities of cooperation in research, industrial training, and talent development, reinforcing the strong partnership between both institutions.

The delegation was received by Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, along with Prof. Hashimoto Shuji, First Vice President for Regional and International Affairs and Prof. Ahmed El-Sabbagh, Vice President for Education and Academic Affairs.

 The visit followed by an opening session featuring presentations on the Fiel;d of industry-oriented R&D in Egypt and worldwide, E-JUST’s “Journey of Excellence,” and an overview of the Industry Cluster and its role in supporting innovation.

 During the discussions, ELSEWEDY Cables representatives emphasized the company’s strong interest in recruiting E-JUST graduates, noting the alignment between the university’s practical, research-based education model and the skills required in the industrial sector. They also stressed the importance of expanding internship opportunities for E-JUST students to better prepare them for industrial careers.

Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening collaboration in areas such as materials science, manufacturing, quality assurance, and industrial automation.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured key facilities across the campus, including he toured E-JUST’s main research and academic facilities, including the Center of Excellence laboratories and the central library, gaining insight into the university’s research infrastructure and its strong connection between education, research, and innovation.

The visit concluded with a dedicated workshop to discuss proposed research projects and future cooperation plans, reinforcing shared goals in driving innovation and supporting Egypt’s industrial development.
