Strengthening Global Research Partnerships in Energy & Advanced Technologies
During his visit to Eindhoven University of Technology, Prof. Amr Adly, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, explored new avenues for academic and research collaboration in energy systems and advanced technologies.
Invited as an external examiner for a Ph.D. thesis in Electrical Engineering, Prof. Adly engaged in a comprehensive scientific program, including visits to advanced research laboratories and discussions with leading professors and researchers in electrical energy, superconductivity, and power transformers.
The meetings featured in-depth dialogue on emerging research trends and industrial applications, particularly in supporting the global transition toward clean energy and sustainability.
Both institutions emphasized the strategic value of building impactful international partnerships and leveraging E-JUST’s unique model of collaboration with Japanese universities. The visit concluded with an agreement to host an official delegation from Eindhoven in the coming months to formalize a joint research framework and advance technology transfer initiatives.
