Introduction

The faculty is currently striving to build quality systems at both the institutional and program levels, as well as to apply and ultimately obtain institutional and program accreditation. Accreditation is defined as "the recognition granted by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education to an educational institution or academic programs, if the faculty can demonstrate its institutional capacity, achieve educational effectiveness according to the approved and announced standards by the authority, and has developed systems that ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of quality."

The Quality Assurance Unit was established at the faculty to document and monitor continuous improvement in the faculty’s systems or academic and administrative operations, in order to achieve high-quality and efficient outcomes, and thus fulfill its strategic goals.
