Prof. Amr Adly, President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) welcomed H.E. Ambassador Mohamed El-Orabi, Egypt’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a special visit to the university Yesterday. The visit was marked by vibrant cultural and academic engagement with E-JUST students and faculty members. The day began with a cultural seminar hosted by the Liberal Arts and Culture Center under the title "Egyptian Diplomacy in a Changing World." In his keynote address, Ambassador El-Orabi praised E-JUST as a unique academic institution and a distinguished outcome of the strategic partnership between Egypt and Japan. He expressed his admiration for the university's vision and confirmed that his visit would not be the last. E-just top management, addition to many faculty members and students attended the event and actively participated. The ambassador, joined by Prof. Adly, also observed a Model United Nations (MUN) simulation conducted by E-JUST students, who demonstrated a strong grasp of global issues and exceptional skills in diplomacy and discussion. The visit concluded with a comprehensive tour of both the main and secondary campuses. Ambassador El-Orabi visited several advanced facilities, Including the H.E. Fayza Abouelnaga Main Library, and the university’s modern sports facilities. This visit reflects E-JUST’s continuous efforts to build bridges between academia and diplomacy, and to provide its students with meaningful opportunities to connect with influential figures and expand their global outlook.
