The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology organized its first student marathon on May 19, 2025, bringing together energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit. The event featured two categories: 3 km for females and 6 km for males, and welcomed all students as well as participation of administrative staff, and JICA office coordinators, welcoming all regardless of athletic background. The event was attended by Prof. Amr Adly, E-JUST President of E-JUST, and Prof. Sameh Nada, Vice President for Education and Academic Affairs, along with university leadership and several administrative staff members. The Marathon Designed to promote wellness and inclusivity, the marathon offered a supportive atmosphere where every participant was encouraged to complete the distance and enjoy the experience. The successful turnout reflects E-JUST’s growing focus on student life and extracurricular engagement. The Day highlighted the university’s commitment to offering a holistic student experience that combines academic excellence with health and well-being. The day concluded with sporting activities on E-JUST’s fields, followed by the End-of-Year Student Activities Ceremony, where medals and certificates were awarded to students who excelled in local, regional, and international academic and athletic competitions.
