Today, the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) welcomed representatives from prominent creative and design companies to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Art & Design. This collaboration aims to provide practical training opportunities for students, aligning academic learning with the demands of the professional world. Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, opened the event by expressing his appreciation for the strong industry turnout. In his remarks, he emphasized that hands-on experience is one of the most valuable components of a modern education. He noted that such partnerships provide E-JUST students with a competitive edge by combining academic knowledge with real-world application. Participating in the signing were representatives from some of the most reputable companies in the creative sector, including Get Go Studio, Blue Ocean, Make Sense, Manassa, TWT, SABAEI Architecture, Memar Design Studio, AXIS Architects, and K&A Design Studio. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Sameh Nada, Vice President for Education and Academic Affairs, along with the university’s deans and Miss Noha Afifi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Technology and Doctor Tsunoda Manabu, Chief Advisor at the JICA Office at E-JUST. The event included a presentation about the university by Dr. Ahmed Romouzy, followed by an open discussion on future collaboration possibilities. A campus tour was also held, featuring visits several advanced facilities, Including the H.E. Fayza Abouelnaga Main Library, and the university’s modern sports facilities. The MoU covers four academic programs: Industrial Product Design, Interior Design, Digital Media Design, and Arts in Creative Industries. This initiative reflects E-JUST’s strategic commitment to applied learning and industry engagement that prepares students for impactful careers.
