Prof. Hany Helal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) and Secretary-General of the Egypt-Japan Education Partnership (EJEP), along with Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, participated in the official ceremony held to honor the fourth cohort of certified Tokkatsu trainers for the year 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education; Ms. Sachiko Imoto, Senior Vice President of JICA; and H.E. Ambassador Fumio Iwai, Ambassador of Japan. Senior officials from the Ministry also took part, including Dr. Hanem Ahmed, Advisor to the Minister for International Cooperation and Agreements, and Ms. Nevine Hammouda, Strategic Affairs Advisor to the Minister and General Supervisor of the Egyptian-Japanese Schools. A total of 16 new trainers received their certifications, bringing the number of officially certified Tokkatsu trainers in Egypt to 54. This reflects the sustained success and growing impact of the Tokkatsu model in Egyptian education. E-JUST’s presence at this significant event highlights the university’s continued commitment to supporting the Egypt-Japan educational partnership. The university actively contributes to fostering value-based and activity-centered education aimed at the holistic development of students—one of the core goals of the strategic collaboration between the two countries
