The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) has achieved a new international milestone by being ranked among the top 400 universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. This marks an impressive jump of 200 positions compared to the previous year. This distinguished ranking reflects E-JUST’s deep commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), with the university being ranked in 14 out of the 17 goals. The results underscore how sustainability is integrated into the university’s institutional strategy and research initiatives. E-JUST stood out in several critical areas, securing the 42nd position globally for SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 65th for SDG 13 (Climate Action), and within the 101–200 range for SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). Commenting on this achievement, Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, emphasized that this progress is the result of strong support from both the Egyptian and Japanese governments, strategic guidance from the university’s Board of Trustees, and the outstanding dedication of its faculty and administrative teams. This recognition reinforces E-JUST’s standing as a leading educational and research institution in Egypt and the region—demonstrating its strategic vision of aligning academic excellence with sustainable development and societal impact.
