The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) held the closing ceremony of its 2025 International Summer Program, which hosted 36 international students from Japan, Vietnam, China, and India, representing over 12 leading Japanese universities, including Ritsumeikan, Osaka, and the University of Tokyo. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, and Prof. Shuji Hashimoto, First Vice President for International Affairs, along with several deans and faculty members. During the event, Japanese students delivered short speeches in Arabic, reflecting on their 10-day experience in Egypt. They expressed how deeply they were touched by the warmth and hospitality of the Egyptian people and how fascinating it was to explore traditions and customs that are very different from life in Japan. The program combined Arabic language courses (standard and colloquial), lectures and workshops on Egyptian culture and heritage, and visits to iconic landmarks in Cairo and Alexandria, such as the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Qaitbay Citadel, the Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Al-Muizz Street. This initiative highlights E-JUST’s vision of connecting cultures and strengthening the bridge between Egypt and Japan, positioning the university as a hub for global academic and cultural exchange.
