With the participation of 27 of the biggest banking and industrial institutions, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology organizes its second Career Expo Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology has organized its second Career Expo to provide internship and job opportunities for its students in collaboration with a large number of companies from investment companies to banks and industrial organizations at the university’s main campus in New Borg El Arab City in Alexandria. The Expo was attended by Prof. Amr Adly, E-JUST President, Prof. Sameh Nada, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mona Gamal Eldin, Dean of the School of Energy Resources, Environment, and Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering, and Dr. Okano Takase the Director of the JAICA project at the university. Prof. Amr Adly was delighted at the huge participation that the Career Expo witnessed from numerous institutions including 27 banking and industrial organizations. These included Ameryah Cement, Daikin Egypt , El Araby Group , Elmohandes Company, Future Group, The Information Technology Institute, Housing and Development Bank, Jade Textiles , Nippon Paint Egypt, Pharco Pharmaceuticals, Sutherland, Prometeon, Smart System, Elsewedy Cables, T &D, Yokogawa , Sumitomo Egypt, and Seitech Solutions. The Career Expo included workshops and sessions from the participating companies and the university on interview and personal skills in addition to resume writing and how to handle job advertisements and vacancies for internships for university students. The University President assured that this job fair would be organized annually to provide job opportunities for graduates as well as internship opportunities for undergraduates in the light of the university’s leading role in social development.
