Qualifications and skills requirements:

We are looking for an experienced academic in Digital Animation and Games Design to join our team, with expertise in current industry practices and real-time tools such as game engines. The ideal candidate will be a skilled educator, able to plan and deliver curriculum modules, lead a team of teaching assistants, and inspire the next generation of games/animation talent. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to effectively collaborate with staff and students are essential for this role.

  • D. degree in Digital Animation and Game Design.
  • Proficiency with game engines (preferably Unreal Engine) and Adobe Suite for graphics-based tasks and UI, as well as Maya and Blender for 3D
  • Strong industry experience in digital animation and game design
  • Excellent teaching and research record
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, as well as excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop curriculum in digital animation and game design
  • Conduct research and publish in reputable journals and conferences
  • Supervise student projects
  • Contribute to faculty and university-wide initiatives
  • Collaborate with industry partners and professionals
