Qualifications and skills requirements:
- PhD degree in mechanical power engineering or a related field
- Has more than 3 years academic and professional experience since obtaining his/her PhD.
- Have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and be willing to integrate within the current research labs of the department.
- All candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and a promising research record are especially encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with other engineering schools at E-JUST.
Role Expectations:
- Produce high-quality research output with active collaboration with staff as well as supervision of MSc/PhD students.
- Apply for research grants targeting pressing real-world problems.
- Establish strong ties with Japanese counterpart professors.
- Contribute to the community at large through technology transfer activities such as filing patents and startup consultations.
- Contribute to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. This includes introducing the state-of-the-art in the field as well as linking research with education.
- Adhere to high-quality teaching processes and activities.
