Qualifications and skills requirements:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate academic of Industrial/Product Design to join our team, with expertise in current industry practices of digital fabrication and industrial/product design history. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in one or more areas, including sustainable innovation, inclusive design, digital-physical integration, or advanced design methodologies, and the ability to effectively collaborate with staff and students is essential for this role.

• D. degree in Industrial/Product Design
• Proficient in industry-standard design tools and emerging technologies such as digital modelling software (preferably SolidWorks and Rhino), digital fabrication, and sustainable materials, with a focus on experimentation and innovation
• Strong industry experience in Industrial/Product design
• Excellent teaching and research record
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, as well as excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum in Industrial/Product design
• Conduct research and publish in reputable journals and conferences
• Supervise student projects
• Contribute to faculty and university-wide initiatives
• Collaborate with industry partners and professionals
