Software and Applications Manager

Job Summary: -

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Program ,Manager to lead and oversee complex IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, system administration, and project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and aligning IT projects with overall business objectives.

Job Requirement & Skills:

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and finalize IT programs according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive program plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of related IT projects, ensuring consistency and alignment.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and business analysts.
• Monitor program progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on program status and addressing concerns.
• Implement and maintain effective program governance processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project management best practices.
• Manage budget and resource allocation effectively.
• Identify and assess program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the implementation and management of strategy management frameworks and systems.
• Design and execute comprehensive strategy management approaches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems.
• 24 years of experience in IT, with significant experience in managing complex IT programs.
• Proven experience in:
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Project Management Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Infrastructure Management
• Risk Management
• Strong technical background with knowledge of:
• Programming Languages and Frameworks (e.g., PHP, Node.js, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Laravel)
• Web Technologies
• Databases
• System Administration
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in managing e-learning projects and platforms is a significant advantage.
