Scholarships Terms and Conditions E-JUST Scholarships for Palestinian Human Resources Development towards Reconstruction in Gaza - i.e. Palestinian Scholarship

E-JUST offers Palestinian Scholarship to support the provision of continuous learning opportunities to the students of Palestine, particularly focusing on Gaza. These scholarships are provided under the cooperation of the Egyptian government and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).

Palestinian Scholarships are available for applicants who wish to pursue their B.Sc. degree in any of the following majors at E-JUST:
  • Faculty of Engineering Programs.
  • Basic and Applied Science Programs.
  • Faculty of International Business and Humanities Programs.
  • Art and Design Programs.
  • Computer Science and Information Technology Programs
Available slots:
  • For Fall 2025 Intake: Around 40- 50 B.Sc. Slots.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
  • The applicant must hold Palestinian nationality.
  • It is preferable that the applicant is a Palestinian who was living in the Gaza Strip as of October 2023 and could not continue study at university/college or could not go on university/college due to the current situation.
  • The candidate is willing to contribute to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip after graduation.
  • Applicants are not to be serving in the military;
  • Applicants should fulfill all of the admission requirements
Scholarship Coverage:
E-JUST Palestinian Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that covers:
  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation at E-JUST dormitory
  • Monthly stipend
  • Medical care
  • Residency fees
  • International and domestic travel expenses (e.g. flight fare from and to the applicant’s home/residence)
How to apply?

Please click on “Apply Now Button” available through E-JUST website and fill in the online application and attach all of the required documents.

Scholarship Term:
  • The scholarship’s term is for four (4) years for the B.Sc. degree.
  • The scholarship’s support is dependent upon the student’s good standing with E-JUST program in which he/she is registered. An evaluation progress report will be sent semi-annually to the sponsor reporting about the student’s study level, including the student’s transcript and academic advisor report.
  • Scholarships are full-time scholarships; this means that E-JUST students are fully devoted to their study in E-JUST and are not allowed to work elsewhere during their scholarships’ period.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Applicants must hold a valid THANAWYA AMMA certificate or equivalent high school certificate approved by the Supreme Council of Universities of Egypt (SCU).
  • Applicants must meet the minimum required score and section (as shown in the table below)

Other certificates (other than Thanaway Amma) follow the regulations and score calculation rules of the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt.
  • Applicants must be able to read, write and communicate efficiently in English.
The followings are applied:
  1. All applicants must pass the E-JUST English Proficiency Test.
  2. Applicants who have TOEFL (iBT) score of 60 or IELTS score of 6.0 will be waived from the E-JUST English Proficiency Test. Only valid certificate will be accepted (the certificate validity is 2 years after the test date)
  3. Applicants who did not pass the E-JUST English Proficiency Test might be enrolled in E-JUST as a provisional student for one academic year provided that he/she will pass the test within this year, otherwise the student enrollment will be terminated. 
  4. Provisional student can apply for 14 credit hours based on the university’s academic schedule.
<Important Notes>
  • Meeting the minimum requirement for application does not mean that the student will be automatically accepted to E-JUST. Students are required to pass the document screening, entrance examination and the final interview.
  • Student’s acceptance is based on an overall assessment of the high school score, admission entrance exams score, English score and passing the interview.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered for final decision.
  • Any deliberate falsifications, forgeries, withholding of information, or provision of false, incomplete, or misleading documents during the application process will result in immediate rejection, refusal of admission or enrollment, or cancellation of my application/enrollment by E-JUST.
  • All correspondence during the admission process will be done by email, and the applicant should ensure registering with well-functioning email address and checking it constantly, including the junk-email box.
  • After final result and submission of original documents and certificates; E-JUST will apply on behalf of the applicants who pass successfully the admission process for the security clearance and necessary approvals as preliminary step for enrollment.
