Admission Requirements

  • Eligibility Requirements
  1. Egyptian applicants must have completed a secondary school education and hold a valid THANAWYA AMMA certificate- Mathematics, or approved equivalent certificate (e.g. IGCSE, American Diploma, etc..).
  2. Applicant’s age must not exceed 21 years as of September 1, 2024. Male applicants must provide their military service status.
  3. Applicants from other countries must have an equivalent secondary school certificate approved by the Supreme Council of Universities of Egypt (SCU). 
  4. Foreign certificate holders should have completed at least 12 years of schooling or completed 3 years of secondary school after the Egyptian Preparatory school certificate (Eidadiya) or completed 6 years of secondary school and preparatory school after the Egyptian Primary school certificate as per the rules and regulation of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
  5. Foreign certificate holders applying with 11 schooling years, must submit a statement that proves their eligibility to apply to the university study.
  6. Accepted students’ holder of foreign certificates must pass the Arabic and Religion exams of Thanawaya Amma before or after the final acceptance in the university.
  7. Applicants must be able to read, write and communicate efficiently in English.

The followings are applied:

  • All applicants must pass the E-JUST English Proficiency 
  • Applicants who have TOEFL (IBT) score of 60 or IELTS score of 6.0 will be waived from the E-JUST English Proficiency Test. Only valid certificate will be accepted (the certificate validity is 2 years after the test date)
  • Applicants who did not pass the E-JUST English Proficiency Test might be enrolled in E-JUST as a provisional student for one academic year if he/she will pass the test within this year, otherwise the student enrollment will be terminated. 
  • Provisional student can apply for 12 credit hours based on the university’s academic schedule. 
  1. Accepted students’ holder of foreign certificates from other countries must provide a residency from the country of their current residence.
  2. All required scores will be announced after the Thanaweya Amma results disclosure.
  3. The University accepts applications from students who are holders of the following certificates:

Thanawya Amma Certificate ( MATH section):

Thanawya Amma/Tawgihi Certificate from other Arab Countries (Science section):

Thanawya Azharia Certificate (Science section):

  • Religious subjects are not be considered.

British Schools (GCE/GCSE/IGCSE):

  • Applicants must have successfully completed 12 years of schooling.
  • Applicant must have studied eight O-level (OL) subjects (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry) and a minimum of one A-level (AL) or One Advanced Supplementary-level (ASL) subject (Mathematics).
  • E-JUST accepts a minimum grade of C in O-level subjects, and a minimum grade of D in A-level and AS-level subjects. Repeated subjects will not be double counted. The best grade obtained in a repeated subject will be the only one considered, noting that the number of studied A-level and AS-level subjects will be considered and given a priority. 
  • IGCSE OL subjects should be from the extended system, not the core system.Up to five sittings is considered acceptable (taken over no more than three successive years). 
  • The equivalent score is calculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

American High School Diploma:

  • Students must submit their college dashboard username and password to verify SAT scores.
  • Students must have successfully completed eight different subjects (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry). Subjects worth less than one credit will not be accepted. 
  • Subjects such as physical education, music, yearbook, and religion will not be counted. Subjects can be calculated from grade 11 (maximum of three subjects) and/or 12 (minimum five subjects). 
  • The minimum required score for acceptance is a combined total score of 800/1600 in SAT /EST I and 900/1600 in SAT/EST II with a minimum score of 500 for each qualifying subject. 
  • The qualifying subject in SAT/EST II are Math and one of Physics, Chemistry or Biology. Students who receive an American High School Diploma must submit proof of 12 years of schooling.
  • SAT/EST II scores are not accepted after the graduation date from the high school.
  • The equivalent score iscalculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

Canadian Diploma from schools inside Egypt:

  • Students must have successfully completed eight different subjects (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry).An advanced level Math subject in grade 12 is required. The subject must have also been studied in grade 11,
  • Subjects worth less than one credit are not accepted.
  • Subjects can be calculated from grade 11 (maximum of three subjects) and from grade 12 (minimum of five subjects). Subjects such as physical education, music, yearbook, and religion will not be counted. 
  • The minimum required score for acceptance is a combined total score of 800/1600 in SAT I and 900/1600 in SAT II with a minimum score of 500 for each qualifying subject.

  • Students must have successfully completed eight different subjects (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry).An advanced level Math subject in grade 12 is required. The subject must have also been studied in grade 11.
  • Subjects worth less than one credit will not be accepted.
  • Subjects can be calculated from grade 11 (maximum of three subjects) and from grade 12 (minimum of five subjects). Subjects such as physical education, music, yearbook, and religion will not be counted. 
  • The equivalent score iscalculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

French Baccalaureate:

  • Seven subjects must be included in grade calculations (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry). A minimum score of 10/20 is required as a passing grade. 
  • Five points will be added to each course in the evaluation as a bonus and the final percentage will be calculated according to the student’s score in each course and the corresponding coefficient. 
  • The equivalent score iscalculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

German Abitur:

  • Students must have taken the qualifying subjects in grade 11 and 12. 
  • Seven subjects must be included in grade calculations (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry).
  • The equivalent score iscalculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

International Baccalaureate:

  • Students must have passed six subjects, with a minimum of three taken at the high level including the qualifying subjects which are Mathematics and Physics. A minimum score of 24/45 is required as a passing score.
  • Passing in English language is a must for acceptance. Theory of knowledge, extended essay and creativity are required subjects.
  • Students must obtain the final graduation IB Diploma to be considered for admission.
  • The equivalent score is calculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

Other certificate requirements follow the regulations and score calculation rules of the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt.

  • Meeting the minimum requirement for application does not mean that the student will be automatically accepted to E-JUST. Students are required to pass the document screening,entrance examination and the final interview.
  • Students acceptance is based on an overall assessment of the high school score, admission entrance exams score, English score and passing the interview.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered for final decision.
  • Any deliberate falsifications or forgeries in the application process will result in immediate rejection.
  • All correspondence during the admission process will be done by email, applicant should ensure registering with well-functioning email address and check it constantly, including the junk-email box.

  • The provisional students will pay the English intensive course fee, which is estimated as the fee of 2 credit hours of the Faculty of International Business and Humanities (FIBH) students.

  • All required scores will be announced after the Thanaweya Amma results disclosure.

  • Seven subjects must be included in grade calculations (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry). A minimum score of 10/20 is required as a passing grade.
  • Five points will be added to each course in the evaluation as a bonus and the final percentage will be calculated according to the student’s score in each course and the corresponding coefficient.
  • The equivalent score is calculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

German Abitur:

  • Students must have taken the qualifying subjects in grade 11 and 12.
  • Seven subjects must be included in grade calculations (including the qualifying subjects which are English or English Literature, Math, Physics and Chemistry or Applied Chemistry).
  • The equivalent score is calculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

International Baccalaureate:

  • Students must have passed six subjects, with a minimum of three taken at the high level including the qualifying subjects which are Mathematics and Physics. A minimum score of 24/45 is required as a passing score.
  • Passing in English language is a must for acceptance. Theory of knowledge, extended essay and creativity are required subjects.
  • Students must obtain the final graduation IB Diploma to be considered for admission.
  • The equivalent score is calculated in compliance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations and score calculation rules.

Other certificate requirements follow the regulations and score calculation rules of the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt.

  • Meeting the minimum requirement for application does not mean that the student will be automatically accepted to E-JUST. Students are required to pass the document screening, entrance examination and the final interview.
  • Students acceptance is based on an overall assessment of the high school score, admission entrance exams score, English score and passing the interview.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered for final decision.
  • Any deliberate falsifications or forgeries in the application process will result in immediate rejection.
